A contractor hired to repair the concrete bridge across the canal on the Ban Bung-Kradon route in tambon Bueng Kradon had demolished the bridge, leaving only the support piling. Four injured people were lifted from the canal, which did not have a lot of water, and taken to Ban Bung Hospital. Wicharn Kangwanglertpanya, the village head, told Khaosod Online the bridge had been undergoing repairs for about two weeks. The contractor had demolished the bridge, but had not put up any barricades.
